If you follow me on Instagram, you know we have been working on my daughter's teen bedroom for months. We started as a little project for her, and I could do during the pandemic. However, with stores closing for months, it was a bit quiet challenging to complete. Fast forward, six months, and some online shopping, and her room is now at the finish line. Perfect timing for virtual learning this school year.

Since she is now in high school and fourteen, I gave her more say on what went into her room. to be honest, I gave her full reign. I wanted her bedroom to be a representation of her, NOT me. With school being online for the unforeseen time here, her room is where she will be spending most of her time. I wanted it to be a space she just loved being in. She mentioned she wanted her bedroom style to be modern boho, but that can mean so many things. She showed me on Pinterest what she had in mind, and we went from there. I wanted to keep it within budget, so while she showed me beautiful furniture from high-end websites, but I did my research and found similar items on other more affordable sites. (You know me, decor on a budget always).

The final result is something we both love. It's the perfect representation of my daughter's personality aesthetically; it's simple, organic, free spirit, and eclectic. All which I think describe her.

We also did some organization to her workspace to make her more productive during her workday. We were keeping it all accessible and straightforward—all her school notebooks in her order for her to reach when needed. We also used a behind the door organizer for all her toiletries and hair products to get ready near her floor mirror.

She is just so happy with it. Flash loves it too. She has received many compliments from classmates, making all the time and effort to finish her room so satisfying. I hope you love it as much as she does.

Love,

Eileen

The holidays and everything that comes with it can be overwhelming. One of the things I hate about making my house beautiful for the holidays is all the cables that go along with holiday decor. Especially in hard-to-reach areas like behind my Christmas Tree. I found this #UltraProWi-Fi (#ad) Smart Switches on Amazon. They are super easy-to-use and so simple to set up. They are compatible with my Amazon Alexa & Google assistant. All you have to do is download the UltraPro app to control (available wherever you download your apps). The @UltraPro Wifi Plugs are compatible with my Christmas tree and the rest of my holiday decor, but when the holidays are over, they will also be compatible with my lamps and small appliances, etc. It's made this holiday season a little more stress-free. Have you tried them yet? Head over to my stories to see how easy they are to use and for the link. It is no secret that I love organization and holiday decor. But the amount of decorations I have collected through the years has been overwhelming. I love to use @sterilitecorporation (#Sponsored) storage for all my holiday decor. Their color-coded seasonal bins make finding my decorations easier to find, and they are also stackable to use up all my vertical space. I especially love their gift wrapping organization systems, keeping all my wrapping paper, ribbons, tags, etc., damage-free throughout the year. You can find these storage solutions at your local @target. Do you have holiday decor storage solutions in place? One of my favorite views. My second @kingofchristmas tree is finally up. (Gifted) Yes, I have two. I have had a tradition with my daughter that she gets to decorate one tree every year since she was younger. We've gone through theme like the Grinch, Candyland, Disney, you name it. Now she's older she goes for more her personal style. I love both trees this year so much. I don't know which tree Santa will be putting the gifts this year. Thanksgiving is next week. How crazy is that? I have slowly been decorating the house for the holidays. One of my favorite areas to decorate in my home is my white entertainment center from @CityFurniture (#Sponsored). I love the different shelves where I can display all my holiday family photos and decor. It's one of the main areas in my house where I change out seasonally. One of the things I loved about purchasing this piece is that it's fully customizable, from adding doors to lights, even a bench. Yes! A bench. The Newport Entertainment Wall is customizable to meet your family's needs. Have you checked out @CityFurniture yet? Family photos make a house a home. I have always loved displaying family photos in my house. It just gives it a personalized feel. But sometimes, too many mismatching frames can make the walls look cluttered or Tchotchkes-ish. I recently switched out a wood shelf hanging on this wall for a beautiful custom Frame-Kits from @pictureplays . Their website is super easy to use to order. They have several ways to display the picture frames, and they show you how. You can also choose different finishes, including the glass you want to use. These frames are museum-quality and can be made 100% customizable to your home. @PicturePlays would make an amazing holiday gift this season. Use Code: Sweet20 for 20% off. Are you team gallery wall? With the holidays right around the corner, you know I am prepping for all the decorating I will be doing this year. (#AD) If you have been following me for a bit, you know I love to use @command products for most of my home and holiday decor. I use them around the house for my wreaths, stocking, fairy lights, and even my holiday cards. I continue to use them because it's damage-free decorating. It puts my mind at ease that I won't be left with holes or damage after the holidays. @Command is available at your local @Publix and Publix online. @Command will be up to 25% OFF from 11/7-11/20 perfect time for all your holiday decorating! Flash is just as confused as you may be as well. But, as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Sunday (Halloween), it's Christmas at Sweet Pembroke Home. I am excited to have partnered again with @KingofChristmas. (#sponsored) for the third year in a wrong. I love their trees. They are so easy to assemble and store, plus they are all so beautiful! Head over to my Bio for the link. It's Halloween Week and, Flash gets in all the fun, too especially having his favorite treats from @goodnfunchews(#Sponsored). I don't mind giving these treats to him because they are made with premium chicken, beef, cheese, etc. They have no artificial colors or flavors added. They are a good source of protein and, they are great for all size dogs. Make this dog mom happy. @goodnfunchews dog treats can be purchased at your local @FamilyDollar. Do you get your dog treats for the holidays? I added a little bit of Halloween Whimsy today to my dining room using @mackenziechilds . (#Sponsored) I only started collecting these pieces last year. But so far their Halloween Collection is by my favorite. All their decor pieces have so many details. I love their signature black and white checkerboard and all their whimsy patterns. They are so much fun to decorate any room in my house. Aren't they the cutest? 13 days until Halloween!
